donations and fund-raising

Housing for Women is a registered charity and relies on charitable donations to carry out work above and beyond the provision of housing services. We also actively seek out research funding and projects which are relevant to our work.

We have used charitable funds for:

Toys and Christmas parties for children living in the Domestic Violence hostels; small training grants to assist tenants; support for volunteers

Current areas in which we are fund raising:

Play area and equipment for children in the Domestic Violence hostels
Grant applications for play leaders and child workers
