caroline allen: director of finance
It's my job to make sure hfw doesn't run out of money and that what we have is used properly to further the work of the association. My team are the backroom men and women who devise the budgets and financial plans, prepare annual accounts and management accounts, record all the money transactions, keep track of all the association's assets and support our colleagues on the front line in housing management, development and maintenance.

meera bedi: director of development and new initiatives
The Director of Development and New Initiatives is responsible for finding new and appropriate schemes for our client group to ensure that we continue to cater for the needs of women in London. These may be move-on accommodation from our hostels or family and single-person accommodation for women-led households. In addition the post leads on new areas of development – for example exploring the requirements of an ageing population and looking at the housing requirements of ex-offenders.

judith chambers: director of housing services
I am responsible for the housing management service and supervise the housing officers, giving support, training and direction in their day to day tasks. I am responsible for ensuring that the housing officers treat all tenants equally and that tenants receive the appropriate housing service to their needs. Other area of work: writing of policies and procedures for the Association; tendering for cleaning and gardening contracts; investigating any complaints made by tenants; organising the collection of tenant rent arrears; authorising any legal action that has to be taken against tenants.

jo lebby : maintenance administrator
I am the Maintenance Administrator and my key responsibilities are to process repair requests, including issuing repair work orders to contractors as well as monitoring the status of the repair. I also carryout a number administrative duties such as arranging appointments, writing letters, filing, answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries.

rosemary porter : pa/personnel officer
My role is to provide adminstrative support to the Chief Executive, Directors and Board Members. I also answer telephones and deal with day to day enquires, organise staff meetings and specific training provision. I assist in the recruitment process and am also a fire warden and health and safety officer for the main office.
