Housing for Women expects our appointed contractors to: Be courteous, polite and considerate to tenants and their neighbours Be presentable Make telephone appointments promptly within 3 days of issue of work order wherever possible Make appointments to fit in with the tenant's circumstances wherever possible Inform tenants of any delays to appointments/work as they arise Introduce themselves using a company identity card and the HFW work order Present the work order for tenants to sign on completion of the work Use own equipment at all times Clean and tidy site upon completion of work (or daily for ongoing work) Cart away rubbish. Do not use tenants' bins for disposal. Comply with all relevant Health & Safety legislation Adhere to Housing for Women's Equal Opportunities Policy and Harassment Policy May 2003 Please note: Any use of HFW policies/procedures by third parties is entirely at their own risk. It is the responsibility of the third party user to verify that the policy or procedure complies with current legislation/best practice before relying on it.
