satellite dishes |
|
Satellite dishes can cause damage to buildings and alter the way they look. If you live in a house you may be permitted to erect a dish. You should write to your Maintenance Manager or Housing Officer with full details. If you live in a flat you are not permitted to erect a satellite dish. We may be able to arrange for the provision of a communal satellite system or cable television for a block of flats or estate. Speak to your housing Officer or housing Manager if you live in a flat and would like to receive satellite television channels. If you wish to install any aerial you need our permission first. You should write to your housing officer or maintenance manager with full details. In addition you may need to obtain planning permission from the local authority ( and the post office for CB aerials). January 2002 Please note: Any use of HFW policies/procedures by third parties is entirely at their own risk. It is the responsibility of the third party user to verify that the policy or procedure complies with current legislation/best practice before relying on it.
