what is the tenants' panel?

Having a nice place to live is not just about the quality of your home but also about the neighbourhood, the surroundings and the services and facilities available locally. You and other tenants have an important role to play in providing and supporting those services.

Membership of the Tenants’ Panel means you can influence the way Housing for Women manage your home as well as enabling you to become involved in the running and supporting of the Association’s activities.

who are the tenants' panel?

The Panel consists of tenants who have volunteered to serve to ensure that tenants’ voices are heard.

  • Consultation and review in the policy making process
  • A specific work programme including estate walkabouts to talk to tenants re issues of noise, refuse, nuisance and general estate matters

why the tenants' panel is important

  • They understand what is important to tenants.
